Sapo Verde To ME!

If you aren't Latin you probably won't get the headline ... and if you are Latin and still don't get it SAPO VERDE is how us Cubans interpret Happy Birthday

It's my motha f'ing birthday! I turn the big 29! Last year of my twenties ya'll


I will be keeping it classy tonight - dinner with my brother and then Saturday its the real FUN stuff! A BAR CRAWL!!!! Lets see how my body handles alcohol now that I am on a Healthy Eating Body Cleanse in which I have not consumed not an ounce of alcohol in 11 days! Not that I am alcoholic but my liver needs some sort of a warm up!


Anyway SAPO VERDE to me!!!!

Down & Dirty

Guess who is alive...it's ya' GURL! Man O' Man have I been busy with LIFE.




Allow me to fill you in on whats been going on wit cha gurl'


- Since January I have lost 11lbs (working out and sort of kind of watching what I eat)
- I went to Utah & snowboarded like a champ (not sure if it was mentioned in my last post)
- I broke up with LA Fitness and now am a Bally's girl only because they offer ZUMBA classes. If you don't know about it then you need to get with it. Being a "So You Think You Can Dance" champ in my own mind how can I not love ZUMBA? Its an hour cardio that involves all forms of dance (salsa, bachata, samba, booty shaking...you name it) On average its estimated in an hour you can burn about 475 calories. I am so in love with the class that I may consider becoming certfieid to become a ZUMBA instructor!
- I started Pole Fitness classes too and all I have to say is that the "Booty Clap" ain't easy
- I Ran my first 5k run/race, the MUD RUN it was AWESOME. I have BJ knees to prove it. All scraped up its sexy! I plan to make runs and marathons a habit if not for the health benefits but OMG talk about HOTT guys. I always find myself in places here in Miami wondering where the HOTT guys are. Well I now know they are at marathons.

Herp Don't Hurt

Thats right people and the syph don't stick!
The things I come up with when I am drunk BLOW my mind!

I had a quick minute and thought I would share........
And my sharing will now turn into a FULL POST!!!! I got an instant urge of inspiration!
I haven't blogged not because there hasn't been anything to BLOG about but I haven't been inspired at allllllllllllllll!

Recently my inspiration has been getting my FAT ASS in shape! I started off with walking four miles almost daily - then I said let me jog a little. FYI I hate running! Why because it's always been uncomfortable due to the Tig-Ol-Bitties! In the past few weeks I have actually impressed myself by running half a mile and dieing to running 2 miles and feeling like I might die.
In 3 weeks I have shed 7lbs and have been taking before/after pics ::DISCLAIMER:: My results aren't like those of Hydrocycut yet but slowly inching my way there. I mean not having PANTY burn for over 2 weeks means I have trimmed in the waist line!
My usual routine now is 3.5 miles fast pace walking and a little over a mile of jogging.
I feel great! Especially because I have set a goal to be in a marathon by the end of the year. I gave up on making my WEIGHT which is just a # be my goal. Even though I will admit I weigh myself religiously and am obsessed with seeing that # get lower :)

My current obsession is Grey's Anatomy. I know it came out in 2005 but I am now watching it, thanks to Netflix INSTANT movie watching! I have been crashing every night after 1 am because I can't stop. I am half way through season 2 - there are 27 episodes!!! I am excited to catch up to its current day episodes.

Wow I definitely wrote more than I anticipated....bon voyage suckers!
Won't be making any meaningless statements like "I should be blogging more...blah blah blah"
I will blog when I can blog!
